Penh Lenh, meaning "whole", is on a simply, yet bold mission to empower marginalized and at-risk young women in Cambodia to pursue their life goals through quality education, vocational training, and advanced career opportunities.

Founded by Rachel Dodson in 2013, Penh Lenh is based in Cambodia's capital city of Phnom Penh. We deliver through designing bold, colorful, and unique pieces - we are actually creating a platform for so much more. You see, for us, everyday is an opportunity to educate, empower and impact not only our staff but the community around us.

Our jewels are handcrafted here in Cambodia by our artisans and each piece represent the strength and beauty of the women creating them. 100% of our product sales are reinvested in the the social mission of Penh Lenh.

Education - Not only do we equip our girls with in depth jewelry skill training, our trainings also include: professional skills, communication skills, teamwork, goal setting, conflict resolution, relationship/boundaries, finance and budgeting, health & wellness, life-skills, and English. 

Employment - We believe by setting higher standards of salaries, health care benefits, providing daily meals, and a safe and dignified work environment we are not only impacting the lives of our staff, but the communities around us. 

In fact, we believe we can be part of a movement that changes an entire society!

Empowerment - Penh Lenh is deeply committed to upholding it’s mission to empower marginalised and at-risk young women in Cambodia.  We believe true empowerment is equipping these young women with the skills and resources to live self-sustained lives. Our program has been designed and our staff is trained to work with young women of all backgrounds and education levels. We are serious about making a true "impact" and have developed a series of evaluations that allow us to "meet each girl where she’s at." We also monitor development and progress with weekly check-ins and regular assessments.  We are in it for the long-run and work hard to make sure our model in one that results in actual Empowerment.
